Capturing More Than Statistics in the ECCA Nonprofit Annual Report
Annual reports may seem like a dry topic but they don’t have to be. If done correctly, your nonprofit’s annual report can both inspire trust in its transparency and humanize the communities who benefit from your programs. PAPER & PAGE worked with the ECCA Family Foundation to develop their nonprofit annual report to communicate their impact, both tangible and intangible.
The ECCA Family Foundation was created by Christian Algot Enevoldsen and his family, the founders of the global jewelry brand Pandora, as a framework for their philanthropic efforts. Building on our existing work with the North-East Family Office and our previous nonprofit experience, our team was given a timeframe of just over two weeks to complete the 2022 annual report for ECCA Family Foundation.
Annual reports are a key asset for nonprofit organizations and CSR programs to communicate their impact to stakeholders. Our client wanted a look, style, and tone that engaged their stakeholders across multiple countries, while remaining consistent with their existing brand language.
It was also important that these case studies would depict their programs’ beneficiaries with dignity and emphasize their triumphs. One of our favorite case studies here in Thailand was made possible through a partnership between ECCA and the Pai Seedlings Foundation, which helps smallholder farmers to restructure their debt, end the cycle of poverty, and switch to regenerative, organic agriculture.
It’s been an extraordinary experience working with ECCA to tell these important stories and give context to the impact they’ve made in the region through partnerships with The Freedom Story, Precious Plastic Bangkok, and the World Wildlife Fund.
“PAPER & PAGE not only met our requests within an impressively tight timeframe, they also exhibited a remarkable openness to our suggestions, maintating a high degree of flexibility throughout the process. The dynamic collaboration we had felt more like a co-creative journey rather than a conventional client-vendor relationship.”
